Overall purpose of this role

You will join a team of experienced customer sales and service agents who are charged with achieving sales and delivering exemplary customer service to prospective and existing clients.

From what is possibly the widest range of insurers available to an intermediary, customer service agents handle enquiries on private car, van, motorcycle, vehicle breakdown, home and liability.

After completing our in-house training programme, which takes 6 weeks, you will join one of our teams. Initially you will sell our core products; private car, motorcycle and van insurance, by providing quotations on our extensive range of products and achieve your targets by converting quotations to sold policies and issuing all the relevant documentation.

Further phased in-house training will continue to develop your skills even further across the entire range of insurance products we offer to our customers.


Key responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will be;

  • answering incoming telephone calls made to the contact centre and responding to customer requests
  • making outgoing calls to clients and potential customers who have provided their details having visited our website
  • maintaining an excellent standard of customer service by explaining choices and by providing customers with products that meet their needs
  • selling products and optional additional products and services
  • ensuring that you follow all our systems and procedures
  • producing clear and concise written correspondence

Benefits: After completing 12 months service, Employees are eligible to join our Private Medical Insurance Scheme, funded by the company.

After completing the Probationary period, you will be entitled to commission off the products purchased through the company. Typical savings would be between 10% to 20%, dependent upon product and selected insurer.
